As many reporters find it increasingly difficult to get records to cover U.S. immigration enforcement actions, the Fund for Investigative Journalism and Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) are partnering to host a webinar Wednesday, March 25, at noon Eastern to provide resources, tools and tips.

The one-hour session will include information about data that already exists and how journalists can access it, as well as information on how to obtain and use data and records from federal, state and local agencies. Speakers include:
- Gunita Singh, Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press
- Sarah Cohen, Deportation Data Project
- Francisco Vara-Orta, IRE
- Nicole Foy, ProPublica
The webinar will be moderated by Ellen Weiss, board president of the Fund for Investigative Journalism. Everyone who registers for the webinar will receive a recording of the session, a tip sheet and links to full resources.
