His ongoing series looks at the legal and emotional impact of the New Orleans Archdiocese’s bankruptcy filing on hundreds of people who say they were abused by clergy when they were children. For stories in the series, Berry profiled a man who was fired from his volunteer post and forced into litigation when he confided details of his childhood abuse the archbishop. In another, Berry spoke with half-brothers who were convicted of murdering a priest they say molested them as boys.
